Danny prolongs Zenit contract

FC Zenit and Portuguese national team player Miguel Danny held a contract signing ceremony in St. Petersburg on June 14th. The two sides prolonged their agreement for 4 years.

Danny Miguel Alves Gomes was born on August 7, 1983 in Venezuela. Danny played for the Portuguese sides Maritimo and Sporting Lisbon, then transferred to Dynamo Moscow. Danny came to Zenit in 2008 and scored in his first match against Manchester United in the UEFA Super Cup final, won by Zenit 2:1. Furthermore, Danny has played 21 matches for the Portuguese national team.

Danny has won the Russian championship, the Russian Cup, the Russian Super Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup with Zenit.
