Miguel Danny is out for 8 months

Zenit halfback Miguel Danny was injured in Zenit`s recent practice at training camp in Florence.

Danny underwent an in-depth medical test on February 6th in one of the Florentine medical clinics. He was diagnosed with a total break of the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee, and with damage to the posterior horn of his medial meniscus. Danny was injured when turning with the ball during practice.

Danny is expected to miss about 8 months while recovering.
