Zenit signs young prospect Ivan Solovyov

FC Zenit has signed a three year contract with Russian national youth team player Ivan Solovyov. The young midfielder will join Zenit on August 1, 2013, after his contract with Dynamo ends.

Ivan Solovyov, who plays as a left halfback, was born on March 29, 1993 in Kaluga. He graduated the Dynamo Moscow Football School named after Lev Yashin. Solovyov made his Russian Premier League debut on November 4, 2012, in Dynamo’s match against Krasnodar. Solovyov has played seven games in the Russian League and Russian Cup, in which he made two assists. Solovyov debuted for the Russian national youth team on November 14, 2012, in a match against Slovakia.
