Anatoly Davydov gave his players in the youth team three days off after they returned to St. Petersburg following their match in Nalchik. The Zenit youth team will have its first practice on October 6th. Starting from that day Zenit-Y will have practice every day as it prepares for its next match, at home to one of its main competitors in the youth league - Amkar Perm - on October 15th.
Zenit`s main squad players who haven`t been called up for national team duty will have vacation for almost a whole week. Their first practice after yesterday`s match with Spartak-Nalchik will be on October 9th. All main squad players who aren`t playing for their national team will be at practice, as will several players from the youth team, to be picked by Luciano Spalletti and Anatoly Davydov.
It`s likely that the main and youth sides will scrimmage together on October 10th or 11th at Zenit`s practice facility in Udelny Park.
