The 2011 Russian Premier League schedule is announced: Zenit's 1st match is against Terek.

The draw for the next Russian Premier League season took place on Tuesday in Moscow in a cafe on Taganskaya Square. The next season, which is a transition one from a spring-fall calendar to a fall-spring schedule, will span over 2011/12, and will have 44 matches for each team.

The calendar of matches for the 16th through the 30th matchdays is a mirror reflection of the 1-15 matchdays. The calendar for the remaining 14 matches will be released later, although the teams will play another 2-3 matchdays at the end of the 2011 season.
