The validity of Ivica Krizanac`s contract, which was supposed to last until the end of 2011, was prematurely ended by mutual agreement.
Ivica Krizanac moved to Zenit in 2005. Ivica not only found a starting spot in Zenit`s lineup, he also won the right to play for his national team. Together with Zenit the Croatian specialist twice won the Russian Premier League, won the Russian Cup and Supercup, and won the UEFA Cup and Supercup.
Ivo, as his partners commonly call him, was a real team leader both on the field and off it, and it was his actions on the field that often led Zenit to victory in its most difficult matches.
