Granatkin Tournament: The St. Petersburg team start with a win over Iran

On 9 January the St. Petersburg team, which includes 12 players from the Gazprom Academy played their first match in the Valentin Granatkin Memorial Tournament.
St. Petersburg beat Iran 2-1. The opening goal of the game was scored by blue-white-sky blue midfielder Yefim Boitsov, who also went on to win the man of the match award.

The next match of the group stage for Vladimir Kazachenko's team is on 11 January against Moldova.
