The St. Petersburg team advanced to the quarterfinals of the Granatkin tournament
On 11 January, the united city team beat Moldova and secured an early path to the quarter-finals of the tournament in memory of the first Russian FIFA vice-president Valentin Granatkin.
Having won a second victory in the tournament, Vladimir Kazachenko's team have booked themselves an early place in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
The final match of the group stage for St. Petersburg is on 13 January against Slovenia.
