Tell us a little about yourself, what do you do? What are your hobbies?

I am 46 years old and from Germany, I am salesman, I am married. I really like football of course and motorbiking, I'm a regular visitor to Russia and St. Petersburg, it's my favourite city!

How did you first get interested in Zenit?

I first got into Zenit when I was in St. Petersburg and Russian friends took me to a game in 2013, since then I've been hooked!

Who’s your all-time favourite Zenit player? Who do you like in the current squad and why?

For me, it's Hulk, because he started playing when I started to become a fan.
Artem Dzyuba is my favourite in the current squad, I hope for many more goals from him this season and for him to continue to dominate defences in the league.

What’s your best Zenit memory?

It must be winning the Russian Championship, I was there in St. Petersburg on holiday so got to feel the special atmosphere around the city when we won it!

What are you hoping for us this season?

My main hope is to reach the final of the Europa League, I think that is more than possible for us, there are some very good club's in our way but with our squad it's possible. As Russian Clubs have the winter break I think that will help and I hope that Zenit will get the team together in time. If so, Anderlecht will not be the end! Domestically, the league is still in reach although Spartak look strong, qualification for the Champions League should be our aim.

Which areas of the squad would you like to see Zenit strengthen in? Who realistically should we be looking at signing?

I'm pleased with the signing that Mr Lucescu has made so far in this winter transfer window. I would like us to find a replacement for Witsel, but that is not easy. I would also like us to invest in more in young players

You live in Dusseldorf. How would you describe this city for your fellow fans? What’s the local football like?

Dusseldorf is great, it's still my favorite town in Germany. It has an international flair and we have the Rhine like St. Petersburg has the Niva, but I will change soon for St. Peterburg and come to live in the city of my dreams.
In Germany I am a Fortuna 95 fan, a great team with a long history. The club are in the 2nd german league at the moment but I hope for Bundesliga next season.

If Zenit fans plan to visit your part of the world what place is a must-see and what food should they try?

The Old Town in Dusseldorf, it's a football town with the longest bar in the world and some great German beer of course! Don't forget to contact me to show you around!

Do you know any other Zenit fans where you live or are you the only one?

I have one Zenit friend here, a native from St. Petersburg, he is also a fanatic fan, he emigrated to Germany a few years ago. But I have my football crew in St. Petersburg, as I spend normally a minimum of two months a year there.

Do you have a message for the manager, The team and all the Zenit fans out there?

I like the way the club is going, keep making the right investments and give us Champions League football again please!
