Zenit U21s complete their training in Cyprus

Late on the 26th February the blue-white-sky blues under-21s returned to St. Petersburg after the second winter training camp in Ayia Napa.
In Cyprus, Igor Simutenkov's team played four matches against U21 sides, defeating Ural (6-0), Lokomotiv (1-0), Rubin (1-0) and losing to a Swiss side U21 team (0-3). The best scorer in Cyprus became Kaplenko Kirill, who scored two winning goals in games with the Muscovites and the Kazan Tatars.

The first official match for Zenit's young lions in 2017 will be on 28 February at the MSA Petrovsky against Arsenal Tula in the 20th round of the youth league.
