Zenit U21s beat Anzhi U21s in 9 goal thriller

Zenit U21s score six at home to beat Anzhi 6-3 in a thrilling match at the MSA Petrovsky in the 22nd round of games in the RFPL Youth League. 
Zenit's goals came from Yelovskhi (3 & 36), Plotnikov (7), Makeev (51) and Kakkoev (61 & 83)

Anzhi were able to reply themselves three times in the first half with goals from Agabalaev (17 pen & 37) and Kudryashov on 45 making the game 3-3 at half-time. However in the second half, Zenit's attack went unanswered and the game ended 6-3.

England's Jacob Gardiner-Smith came on on 87 minuets to make his debut or the Zenit U21s also. 

The win over Anzhi means Zenit are on 43 points after 22 games and are in second place in the league behind Spartak Moscow. 

The next match for Igor Simutenkov's team will be on 15 April in Moscow against Spartak.
