Konstantin Sarsania is the new Zenit sporting director

Konstantin Sarsania has been appointed as the new sporting director of the blue-white-sky blues.
Konstantin Sarsania was born on 11 June 1968 in Moscow and began his professional football career in the USSR, playing in both the first and second divisions. He later headed to France, where he played for Lens, Dunkirk and J.A Armentieres. 

After his playing career, he became a FIFA licensed agent and began working behind the scenes in professional football. In 2006 he became Zenit's director of sport and in 2008 he became an adviser to the President for the club's transfer selection policy. Since 2010 he has worked as an advisor at the Russian Football Union. 

The blue-white-sky blues wish to congratulate Mr. Sarsania on his return to Zenit and we wish him much professional success together with the team in the new season.
