Igor Simutenkov moves to the first team and Anatoly Davydov takes over the U21 team

The club announce changes to the management structure of the team.
Igor Simutenkov has managed the youth team for the past two years and will move to work as assistant manager of the Zenit first team. While at Zenit U21s he led the team to 3rd place in the league in the 2016/17 season.

Simutenkov joined Zenit on 1 January 2010 to work on the coaching staff of Luciano Spalletti and later with Andre Villas-Boas. He was part of the coaching team that won the league three times and won the Russian Cup once. 

He will be replaced by Zenit's record appearance holder, Anatoly Davydov, who for the fourth time in his career will start to work with the club's youth team. 

Davydov played for the blue-white-sky blues from 1975 to 1988 and in 1997 took over as the head coach of Zenit's first team and in 1999, he won the Russian Cup.
