First of all, congratulations on your transfer to Zenit. How does it feel to be part of the blue-white-sky blues? 

Thank you so much! I am very glad that I am at such a great club, one of the best in Russia, and I think that it will soon be one of the best in Europe. So I am very happy. 

Did you consult with anyone before making the move? 

The guys in the national team were more concerned in the situation with the Russian team. I did discuss it with my family, with parents and my wife. 

What did the Zenit guys tell you? 

The guys responded positively and said that they are waiting for me. 

What about your former teammates from Rostov, Novoseltsev, Terentyev and Noboa did you ask them about the club? 

No, I haven't directly communicated with the guys from Rostov. 

How do you think you will adapt to the team? 

Yes, I think adapting should be no problem at all, because I know lot of the guys on the team that I already know the championship of Russia. First of all, I need to meet with the coach and the coaching staff. But overall I think there will be no problems with adapting. All the guys from Rostov say it's good here. 

Did the chance to work with Mancini affect your decision? 

Yes, Roberto Mancini was one of the most important factors in my transfer. The coach said he needed me and would like to see me in the team, so I am very happy. I want to plan and to work with specialists. I know he got a great knowledge of tactics and discipline. I've worked with coaches like Berdyev, so I know about discipline on the field. 

You've finished with the Confederations Cup now, when are you going to join the team? 

The plan is on the 30th, I will fly with the team to the next training camp. Now I'm just finishing this off in Rostov and I think that tomorrow I will go to St. Petersburg. 

You have already played at the new Zenit stadium, how is it? 

It's a very nice stadium. I think one of the best in Russia and it can be compared with Krasnodar or Spartak's new stadiums. I have a very good opinion of it. Many have spoken about the pitch, that it is not very good quality. Now it's standard quality at the moment. However, I think that at the beginning of the championship, it will already be very good.
