Miha Mevlja: "In Russia many teams play tight in defence. In Europe it seems a little easier"

The Zenit defender on the draw with CSKA Moscow.
The game was very tense and there were some conflicts on the pitch, what's your opinion about this?

"We expected something like this. After all, it was a derby.

You also got involved in the coming together in the second half.

Well, it was not a fight. There was some pushing but it ended pretty easily.

Did you find yourself busy in the game today?

Yes, CSKA have this style of play and we were ready for it. In the first half we did not start that well, in the second half we managed to turn the tide, but it ended level.

Who do you prefer playing with in defence, Lunev or Lodygin?

I would not like to talk about this particularly. All players are professionals, everyone does their job.

Is a draw here a good result for Zenit?

No. Zenit are always aiming for three points.

This is the third match in a row with a win in the league. Why is that?

In Russia many teams play tight in defence. In Europe it seems a little easier. But this is something we have work on, we have to search for the opportunities to score in the Russian league.
