Maxim and Xenia Panteleeva from a local orphanage spent the day with the club before awarding Leo his award. The also visited the club store and received some gifts from Zenit before heading to the Gazprom Training Centre, to meet with Leandro Paredes and give him the award. 

In October the midfielder played four games, scoring one goal and gave two assists. The Player of the Month award is his first since joining the club.
