The home side's goals were scored by Gultyaev on 13,  Shevchuk on 21 and Shlyakov on 31. Sirotov got one back on 26  meaning Tambov went in at half-time 3-1 up.

A better second-half for Zenit-2 saw them not concede, but unable to put away any chances and the game ended as it had at half-time, 3-1.
