Anton Zabolotny is a Zenit player!

The Russian international striker will join the team in January. The player and the club have agreed a 3.5 year contract

Anton Zabolotny was born on 13 June 1991 in Lipetsk and started playing at local side Metallurg Lipetsk. At the age of 13 he moved to CSKA Moscow, where he played for the youth team and also trained with the first-team.

In 2010 he went on loan to Volgar-Gazprom, in 2011 to Ural and in 2012 to Dynamo Bryansk before returning to Moscow.

In 2013, he made a permanent move to Ufa and a year later to Fakel Voronezh. In 2016 he made the switch to the Leningrad region and joined Tosno, where in his first season he became the club's top scorer.

Since 2009 the striker has represented Russia at various youth levels and in 2017 he was called up to the main Russia squad and made his international debut.

This season Zabolotny has played 19 games and scored 4 goals against the likes of CSKA, Lokomotiv, Spartak and Krasnodar, he’s also put in 2 assists for Tosno this season.
