Sergei Zuykov was born on 19 September 1993 in Moscow and is started his career at Lokomotiv before moving to Astrakhan in January 2013. A year later, he was called up to the Russian U21 team and has won 6 caps at that level. 

This season in the FNL for Volgar, Zuykov has played 19 games and scored five goals.
