The team will take part in the Gazprom Training Camp in Dubai until 22 January. At the same hotel complex as Zenit are also Scottish side Aberdeen and Chinese team Henan.

The morning workout started in the gym, then moved out on to the pitch. Before the start of the session, the new players were welcomed with the usual "running the gauntlet" tunnel.

The first friendly match for Zenit will be on 14 January against Germany's Eintracht Frankfurt.
