Alexander Kokorin: "I like to play as a central striker"

The blue-white-sky blue forward on the match with Lokomotiv Tashkent and the Dubai training camp so far.
What did you think of the game today? You played the second half upfront.

I haven't often played as central striker while at Zenit, I love this position and I score from here.

The team have played a lot of friendly matches in this one camp, is it good or bad?

On the one hand, it's good, on the other, it is not easy to play every day. Like it or not, we need to give our best in every match. In training you can just slow down sometimes, but to play so many friendly matches is unusual and a little bit hard. But generally it is better to play, to gain physical fitness through games rather than running exercises, so that's okay.

This training camp is almost in the wilderness. Is there anything to distract you?

The training field is next door, I think we came here because of this. For us it is betterthat there are so many training pitches available.

Are you rooming with Artem Dzyuba? does he constantly tease you?

We are living together here and we've became friends even more. We often joke with each other.

Overall has the Training Camp been harder or easier than previous?

This is my first full training camp together with the team. All is fine, we have a lot of games. Tomorrow is the final day so everyone is happy.
