Both Zenit's Nicolas Lombaerts and Axel Witsel have been included in the Belgium squad. They will play a home friendly against Spain (1 September) and then take on Cyprus (September 6) in a World Cup qualifier. 

Witsel has earned 44 Belgium caps with 2 goals whilst at Zenit and Lombaerts 38 caps, scoring three times.

As well as Cyprus, the Belgian national team will play in group H with Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Gibraltar, Cyprus and Estonia.
