Ezequiel Garay leaves Zenit for Spain

Zenit and Valencia have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Argentine defender.
Ezequiel Garay joined the blue-white-sky blues in 2014 from Benfica and became a fan favourite. The centre-half played 75 matches, scoring three goals with four assists during his time in St.Petersburg.

While at Zenit Garay won the Russian league title and helped the club achieve it's fifth and the right to wear the gold star above the club badge, he also won the Russian Cup and the Super Cup, as well as reaching the knock-out stages of the UEFA Champions League. 

Garay has been a repeated winner of the «G-Drive. Best Player of the Month award and also won the «G-Drive. Best player of the season-2014/15 award. During his time at Zenit, Garay won 11 caps for his country and won runners-up medals at the World Cup and the Copa America.
