Robert Mak: "Today was the coldest game I've played in Russia"

The blue-white-sky blue midfielder on the victory over Orenburg.
You've scored another goal and Zenit won, but perhaps the team didn't get the big win the fans were expecting. Why didn't you manage to score more?

Today really was not our best match in comparison with those that we have played recently this season. They pressed us so it was not so easy to crack their defence. In the first half we did score after the counter. In the second half we were trying to perform and they had few chances. Today we were not able to show our best game and we have to do that in the next game, it's a very important match for us and we can play better. On the other hand we won three points and that's the most important thing at this stage.

Was today the most difficult game of the season so far?

Yes, today was very cold but it is Russia and I was ready for it. This is the beginning of the prolonged cold weather, so I'll have to get used to games in such weather.

Zenit are second time but have caught up with Spartak. Maybe it is time to overtake them?

Yes, we know that Spartak are ahead of us, but not on points, but we will focus only on ourselves, we will take each game as it comes, we want to win every game. We will watch Spartak and see what happens when we play them again. Only the end of the season will we know where we will finish.
