As part of the VK Festival the most popular club of the country got involved in the festival, including not only a football pitch, but also a lot of children's and family entertainment, a soccer rodeo, master-classes in freestyle football, speeches of support groups and a number of other activites for children and families.

Visitors to the Zenit fan area also saw video tutorials from Oleg Shatov, Yuri Lodygin and Danny. About 200 boys also took part in the selection camp in autumn for the Zenit academy with Gazprombank. The five selected youths were Nikita Khorishko, Sergei Egorov, Nikita Miroshnichenko, Alexander Vinogradov and Maxim Pesterev.

St.Petersburg is the fourth city where the Grand Football Festival has taken place. The next stages of the marathon will be held in Omsk (August 6-7) and Yekaterinburg (August 20). More than 27,000 people visited the event in total at the VK festival.
