Nowadays Rossiya Airlines Joint Stock Company is an air carrier with a worldwide reputation and a wide route network. Rossiya is a part of Aeroflot Group and is the second carrier in the Russian Federation in terms of the fleet size and the largest operator of domestically produced aircraft. The airline continues to develop dynamically increasing its operation programme and performing safe and affordable flights.

The headquarters of the airline is historically located in St. Petersburg. The company is based at Pulkovo (St. Petersburg), Sheremetyevo (Moscow), Yemelyanovo (Krasnoyarsk) airports, as well as at Sochi International Airport.

A modern fleet of aircraft, constant improvement of service standards, an optimal combination of price and quality and, most importantly, a team of professionals ensuring the reliability of flights are the fundamental basis of the company’s operations.

Route network
One of the airline's priorities is to develop the transport accessibility of regions and increase the mobility of the country's population. The company creates opportunities for convenient travel planning either for business meetings, trips to relatives, holidays in hot resorts or active sports tourism by offering a wide route network for both - domestic flights or abroad.

The route network of Rossiya Airlines includes more than 90 domestic and international destinations, including socially popular destinations of the Far East, South and the Black Sea coast of Russia. Since 2018, Rossiya Airlines together with Aeroflot PJSC is implementing the social transportation programme, which offers affordable flat tariffs of fares to the Far East of the country.

Cooperation with one of the leading Russian tour operators - Biblio Globus - contributes to the development of Rossiya’s tourist route network from different regions of the country.

Fleet
The company's fleet consists of modern aircraft: Sukhoi Superjet 100, Boeing 747, Boeing 777, Boeing 737NG, Airbus A320 and Airbus A319. Since 2016, the company has been implementing a fleet and aircraft cabin upgrade programme. Additionally, during the large-scale programme of rebranding the appearance of aircraft, the tradition of naming aircraft in honor of large historically, culturally or socio-economically significant Russian cities was introduced. According to the development strategy until 2028, which was adopted in 2022, Rossiya Airlines has embarked on a transformation and plans to carry out transportation on the domestic market on domestically produced aircraft. Furthermore, Rossiya Airlines will become the first operator of the new domestic MC-21 aircraft. Inclusion of new domestically produced airliners into the fleet will expand the geography of flights within Russia.

Standards
Rossiya Airlines JSC is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and complies with the highest international safety standards. According to IATA requirements, all member airlines undergo a mandatory Operational safety audit (IOSA). IOSA is an advanced harmonized standard of the entire global aviation industry in the field of air transportation and security. The IOSA certificate gives the airline a number of advantages. The main of them is the confirmed international status of a safe air carrier. Since 2007, Rossiya Airlines has been successfully undergoing operational safety recertification audits, confirming its registration as an IOSA Operator.

Rossiya Airlines JSC holds a certificate confirming the compliance of the quality management system with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015. The fundamental element of the airline's quality is flight safety. The priority strategic goal of the company's development is to improve the quality of services provided to passengers at all service stages. Rossiya has implemented a quality management system (QMS) to fulfill this task. The airline continuously monitors the compliance within the QMS requirements at each stage of passenger service, assesses the degree of customer satisfaction through marketing research, surveys, and analysis of incoming requests.

Rossiya Airlines JSC is a laureate of prestigious awards in the aviation industry.

2021:

  • • The highest position among domestic air carriers according to the flight safety rating of Jet Airliner Crash Data Evaluation Center (JACDEC);
  • • Leader of the Safe Travel Scope international rating among domestic carriers;
  • • Winner of the annual International Skyway Service Award;
  • • The airline's team is the winner of the Wings of the Future Award in the "Operational and Production Activities" category;
  • • Gold Award of the British Amenities Magazine for the best children's travel kit;
  • • Winner of the Pavlov's Dog Award in the field of cognitive behavioral approach practice.


2022:
  • • The airline received the maximum rating (7 out of 7) for safety according to the international rating agency Airline Ratings;
  • • The airline is included into the TOP-100 best employers of the country according to HH.ru;
  • • The airline was awarded the Skyway Service Awards for reliable operation of domestic machinery;
  • • Winner of the "Development of Regions. The Best for Russia" Award in the nomination "Best air carrier" of "Transport and logistics" category;
  • • Winner of the annual people's vote MARK №1 IN RUSSIA 2022 in the “Airline" category.


Rossiya Airlines has been the official carrier of FC Zenit, one of the most popular football clubs in Russia, since 2014. The company has designed one of its aircraft in the original livery with the symbols of the sports club.
