Anatoly Tymoshchuk: “I`ll be happy to play at Petrovsky”

Bayern Munich halfback Anatoly Tymoshchuk told “Our Zenit” newspaper that he`ll be happy to play at Petrovsky Stadium again in Bayern`s friendly match against Zenit on May 18th. The contract for holding this match was signed on April 29. The Bavarian side, which finishes the Bundesliga season against Stuttgart, will play an exhibition game on May 16th vs. its fans, and will then fly the next day to St. Petersburg.

— I`m happy that my current club, Bavaria, will play against Zenit, for whom I played exactly 100 matches. That will be my first visit to St. Petersburg since I moved to Munich. I`ve got only positive memories about Zenit and St. Petersburg. No matter how the match goes, I`ll be happy to come on the field at Petrovsky and meet my friends with whom I spent many good moments, and whom I haven`t seen almost two years, — said Tymoshchuk.
