Alexander Kerzhakov will coordinate the club's academy system

The blue-white-sky blue legend has changed his role within the club.
The top scorer in the history of the blue-white-sky blues and Russia's all-time leading goalscorer has been appointed the coordinator of the Zenit youth system. He will be responsible for tracking the progress of young players and their promotion through the ranks from the academy to the youth team and ideally eventually to the first team.

As a Zenit player Alexander Kerzhakov has played 386 matches and scored 226 goals. The striker has won three league titles in Russia, the Russian Cup and the Russian Super Cup twice.
