Konstantin Zyryanov is the new manager of Zenit-2

The three-time league champion is the new manager of Zenit-2.
Konstantin was born on 5 October 1977 in Perm and started playing football at the local club Zvezda. After 171 games at Amkar he moved to the Torpedo Moscow and in March 2007 he joined Zenit. 

In St. Petersburg, Zyryanov played 286 matches for Zenit and won the Premier League three times, the Russian Cup, the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup. He was repeatedly recognized as the best midfielder in the country in various polls during his time at Zenit. 

In 2014 as a player-coach, he joined Zenit -2 and helped the team to second place in the PFL (third tier) and gain a place in the FNL championship. 

Zenit wish Konstantin Georgievich the best of luck in his new position. 

The first official match for Zenit-2 under his leadership will be on 4 March 2018 in Kaliningrad against Baltika.
