Alexander Kokorin: "The result of the first game does not matter. The main thing is to win and go through"

The Russian international striker spoke to the press before the upcoming game with RB Leipzig in the UEFA Europa League.

It’s been said you missed the Rostov match through injury, how are you now?

The match with Rostov is already in the past. Regarding my fitness, I'm fine. All my thoughts are on tomorrow's match as we switch to that tournament.

In the first half of the season, you played with Dzyuba and now you are paired with Zabolotny. Whom do you prefer to play with and what’s the difference?

It's better to make a judgment on that from the stands. I'm comfortable with both of them. With Dzyuba I played longer and I'm getting used to playing with Anton now. I like playing with both of them.

After the game with Celtic you said it was an easy game, what are you expecting tomorrow?

I said that simply because I read the statements from the Celtic players who said it would be an easy game, a walk in the park. So I answered in that way. Tomorrow we will try to win and get through to the next round.

After the Rostov game, Roberto Mancini said that only you score goals for Zenit. Do Zenit depend on you too much and why aren’t Zabolotny and Druissi scoring?

I do not think that this is a big problem. Yes, I have scored more than others, but I hope now the goals will start to come for Driussi, Zabolotny and the rest of the players. If they score, we will all be happy.

Is 2-1 a better result than 1-0 from the first leg?

In general, there is no difference. The result of the first game does not matter. The main thing is to win and go through.
