In the afternoon Miroslav went to the club store and was given some Zenit kit and gifts, he then went to team training and had a kick around on the pitch with Lunev and Ivanovic before handing the players their personal trophies. 

"The stadium is like a flying saucer," said Miroslav. "It's warmer here than on the street too. I didn't think I would spend the day like this. I'll tell all my friends that I really liked it. I hope Zenit always win. 

Branislav Ivanovic won the December award while Andrei Lunev was the best player in March . 

The award for the blue-white-sky blue player of the month is a joint project between Zenit football club and Gazpromneft, suppliers of G-Drive fuel.
