I want to say about the stadium. It is beautiful, I like the atmosphere here. Fifteen thousand spectators were here and so the game looked quite different. We were very happy to play here. 

Can you compare the stadium with that in St. Petersburg? 

You can.The stadium in Nizhny Novgorod is Stadium St. Petersburg's little brother, even the colours are similar. 

What was the quality of the pitch?
 
I would like it to be better, but I think it will be perfect for the World Cup. Today was a test match. We were not allowed to train here yesterday, probably to take care of the pitch. With each sunny day it will get better.

What was your formation and tactics before the match? In the first half it seemed that the home side were more pressing. 

I said at my first press conference that the formation is an internal matter for the team. About pressure from the opponent should be asked from Nikolai Pisarev. 

In the second half, you moved to three defenders. Why? 

Yes, we did so to try and deal with their extra forward.  We also wanted to saturate the centre of the penalty area so that our team could compete and win. 

Why only in the second half?

We did it when the score was 1-0 to us, we took off one forward. In the first half the score was 0-0, but we still needed three points in this match.

How important is it for Zenit-2 to stay in FNL? 

Good question. I think every professional sportsman, not only football players and not only Zenit-2 players want to win whenever possible and in every match. We must win every match. Our players should have self-esteem and they should aim to win. Our task is to develop the best qualities of players and prepare them for the first team. Another task is to stay in the FNL.
