Ilya Skrobotov is the youngest ever Zenit goalscorer in the RFPL

The 17-year-old defender set a club record in the match against Dynamo Moscow.
Skrobotov came on as a substitute in the 88th minute and just five minutes later he headed home the winner. Aged just 17 years and 286 days he becomes Zenit's youngest ever RFPL scorer, beating the record set by Igor Zazulin in May 1992, then the attacking midfielder was just 18 and 22 days old. Ilya also becomes the first Zenit player to score in the league born in the new millennium.

The Zenit record for youngest ever goalscorer belongs to Oleg Salenko who scored on 1 March 1986 against Dynamo Kiev aged 16 years 126 days.
