"I'm not sure I will be able to hold back the tears": Domenico Crisito says goodbye to Zenit on 13 May

Next Sunday the blue-white-sky blue's captain will thank the fans for his time in St. Petersburg and say goodbye.
Domenico Criscito joined Zenit on 27 June 2011 and during his seven years in St. Petersburg played 228 matches (including 53 with the captain's armband), scored 20 goals and created 26 assists.

The Italian full back won the Russian title twice, the Cup of Russia once, and the Russian Super Cup twice with Zenit. Domenico is third in the list of foreigners in the history of the club in terms of the number of matches played (first - Lombaerts, second - Danny).

"This game will be special for me, it's my last one for Zenit after seven wonderful years at the club and I would be very pleased if the stadium was entirely full with the fans, so I can say "thank you" for their support. I'm not sure I will be able to hold back thee tears. Seven years is a long time. We won a lot of trophies together and gave the fans some great moments. It's very sad for me and my family, we've spent seven wonderful years in St. Petersburg, seven important years. My children are six and five, they were born in Italy, but grew up in Russia. And they speak Russian.

After the match against SKA-Khabarovsk, Domenico Crisito will bid farewell to the fans and make a lap of honour at Stadium St Petersburg. The club invites all the fans to the stadium to see off our captain.
