Miha Mevlja was born on 12 June 1990 in Ljubljana. He previously played for Gorica, Lausanne-Sport, Bnei Sakhnin, Dynamo Bucharest and Rostov. He also has 11 international caps for his country and has scored one international 1 goal. 

On 31 August 2017 Miha joined Zenit and has played 29 games so far for the blue-white-sky blues.
