Ural took an early lead through Bavin on 6 minutes but the blue-white sky blues answered soon after, Seb Driussi scoring two quick goals on 12 and 16 minutes. His first goal came via his head deep in the penalty area with Yerokhin providing the cross. For his second goal, the two combined once again, this time Driussi getting a slight touch to Yerokhin's header from a corner, meaning Zenit went into the break 2-1 up.

In the second half, Sergei Semak's men dominated and scored two more, Dzyuba started a breakaway and combined with Driussi to score on 78 minutes and Leo Paredes topped off the win with a direct free kick from distance straight into the top right-hand corner on 89 minutes.

Zenit won the game 4-1 and top the league on 12 points.

The next home game for Sergei Semak's men is the Europa League playoff first-leg against FK Molde this Thursday.
