As a coach of the Russian youth team, this tournament must have been very interesting for you? 

Yes, players born in or after 2001 were playing here and that's the age group that I manage for the national team. All the best players are already playing in their club's youth teams and I'm sure that these players will succeed. The main thing is to try and work on and improve yourself every day. 

Will any of them get into your Russian team? 

We have a list of possible names for the team and all the boys have the chance to get into the national team. The more they prove their consistency, the more their chances will improve. 

Are such large international tournaments a positive for St. Petersburg's football?

Yes, of course, this is a very strong tournament and we don't have many like this in our city. I think St. Petersburg deserves more like this. 

This year the Zenit Academy celebrates its fiftieth anniversary. What's your opinion on the current state of the school? 

We have all the right conditions for creating great players at the Zenit Academy. Probably, what is missing at the moment is a modern stadium.
