Dzyuba and Mak score to see off Krasnodar in the RPL

Sergei Semak's men won the top of the table clash 2-1 and go 6 points clear.
An even first-half with chances at both ends surprisingly ended goalless at half-time. However the blue-white sky blues came out with purpose in the second-half and the introduction of Alexander Kokorin at the break helped Zenit score through Artem Dzyuba on 50 minutes and Robert Mak on 65 minutes.

Krasnodar pulled a goal back through the penalty spot on 85 minutes, as Branislav Ivanovic was adjudged to have handled in the box, but it made no difference to the outcome and the home side won the game 2-1 to go 6 points clear in the Russian Premier Liga.

Zenit next home game is on 25 October in the UEFA Europa League against France's Bordeaux.
