Alexander Yerokhin was born in Barnaul and began playing football in his home town before heading to Lokomotiv Moscow. He soon signed his first professional contract with Sheriff Tiraspol and went on to play for Krasnodar, SKA-Khabarovsk, Ural and Rostov.
In June 2017, he joined Zenit and has played 53 matches, scored 12 goals and made 7 assists for the blue-white-sky blues. Yerokhin was part of the Russian squad that reached the quarterfinals of the 2018 World Cup.
