The technical director of the Schalke 04 Academy, Peter Knabel, and the head of their international relations department, Bodo Mentz visited Zenit's academy. 

The guests met with the Gazprom Academy's management and coaches and got to take a look around the school and the infrastructure of the blue-white-sky blue's academy. 

Zenit and Schalke 04 began cooperation in October 2006, when an agreement between the clubs was signed in Gelsenkirchen. Under the agreement, Zenit and Schalke 04 assist each other in all possible areas, including sports, commercial, construction, technical and legal. Both club's academies are also looking at all ways of working together.

On 18 November at Stadium St. Petersburg Zenit and Schalke 04 will play a friendly and tickets are on sale now.
