Andrei Arshavin is back at Zenit!

The Zenit legend takes up a role as project manager for "Project Sirus," the search for talent players across Russia. 
Andrei Arshavin is back at Zenit!
Arshavin has been appointed to this position by Zenit president, Sergei Fursenko, the announcement was made at this year's Gazprom Academy graduation ceremony.

“The project I will be leading will be at almost every big club,” said Arshavin. "There will be a permanent training camp for the most talented boys from all regions of Russia. It will be year-round and will not only be sports-related but also cultural and educational. Zenit have signed agreements with theaters and universities to also take part and the boys will have a stay in our Academy for two or three weeks while their general education continues."

Arshavin takes up his duties on 1 January.
