The magazine have published the results of a vote by 277 leading Russian journalists and the Zenit striker received 614 points. CSKA goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev took second place with 245 points and Mario Fernandes came third with 215 points. 

Artem Dzyuba is the 45th winner of the award. Top Russian newspaper Sport-Express have also announced the Zenit hitman as their player of the year.
