Andrey Arshavin is a Euro 2020 ambassador
The former Zenit player made the announcement on his Instagram account.
He is Russia's only ambassador for the tournament joining Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Javi Alonso, David Trezeguet, Patrick Kluivert, Henrik Larsson, Luis Figo, Deco, Clarence Seedorf, Alessandro Del Piero and many others.
On 20 March, Andrey Arshavin joined the coaching team at the Gazprom Academy and will take care of our U15s side.
The 2020 European Championships will be held for the first time in 13 countries simultaneously. St. Petersburg, Glasgow, Brussels, Budapest, Bilbao, Dublin, Amsterdam, Bucharest, Copenhagen, Rome, Baku and Munich will hold matches with the final being held in London.
Gazprom Arena will host three Group B matches and one quarter-final due to be held on 13, 17 and 22 June with the quarterfinal due on 3 July.
