Sebastian Driussi: "I am happy at Zenit and glad to be part of this club"

The Argentinian forward on Sunday's match with Anzhi Makhachkala.
How has your role changed on the pitch? How comfortable are you playing on the left?

This position is quite new for me, but I am comfortable playing there. Sometimes I need to work on my defensive play, which I am not quite used to doing. So I am working hard in training so I continue getting better.

The fixture list has made it so you play against a direct rival one week and a lower placed team the next. Has that made it difficult to adjust?

All matches are equally important and no games are easy. It is not surprising, because we are in first place and everyone wants to take points from us. We must win every game, especially at home in front of our fans. The next opponent may seem easier, but they are not. We should come out on the pitch with the same mindset as in the match with Lokomotiv Moscow.

What should be done so we don't see a similar result like the away game, when Zenit lost in Kaspiysk?

I remember that match. To win at home, you need to avoid the mistakes that are made when playing away. We must play smart, carefully and be patient, we must not lose our composure, we must play well in attack and safely win the match.

Do you still speak with Paredes and can you explain again the situation related to your interview with the Argentine radio?

We are constantly in touch and we chat a lot, and it's important for us. I have already explained the situation about that interview with Argentinian radio. I am happy at Zenit, I am focused on the present and glad to be part of this club, I feel good here.
