Sergei Semak: "We will have a certain amount of changes"

The Zenit manager on the home match with Krylia Sovetov.
a:2:{s:4:"TEXT";s:4428:"You've been unchanged in the last few matches, does that mean we'll see the same 11 this Sunday?

Of course not. We have a group of players and everyone wants to play. Who looks better, then they start. As for the changes, they will happen. One team cannot go through the season to the very end. There will be one forced change compared to the match against Dynamo (Barrios is suspended - ed.) and there will probably be more. We will see who is in what condition and how the game can be changed depending on the opposition.

Krylia Sovetov have lost five games out of six and are without Samedov, what are you expecting from them?

Samedov was already training yesterday, so now he is ready to play again. As for their matches, then recent games in Samara and in early April in Krasnodar could have ended with different results for Krylia. At this time of the season every club has their motivation, so we both are going for something. The position in the table does not matter and the match is very important. Each team is capable and I respect them.

Could you tell us how Ozdoev is? Will he start after the injury he picked up in Krasnodar?

As for the selection, we will have a certain amount of changes. Maybe it was possible he will start and we have to take the foreign player limit into account, especially because of injuries to Erokhin and Kuzyayev. We've also missed Shatov a lot and he is gaining match fitness. We have limited options in the middle of the park, especially of players with a Russian passport.

On the other hand, Magomed seem more than ready and he seems fit and his starting depends on that. I am glad for him, for the fact that with his hard work he has earned his place in the starting XI. He has shown a high level of commitment and ability. Every season some players start on the bench but mostly, every player gets a chance. Some unfortunately, have not got their chance. At each training session, the players show their good attitude and this makes me happy as a coach. We do not have a single player, who has not proved his value.

It can be hard to be a coach, but this is part of the job and we have to decide this ourselves. We ourselves choose the life we ??want to live.

Recently Zenit have been compared with Ajax in terms of the gameplay and pressure. How flattering is that comparison?

As for pressure, of course, we are working on this part of our game. We understand that in some matches it is not helpful to use it, because the other team play quite simply. We also change our game in accordance with our abilities. As for Ajax, they reached the UEFA Champions League semis and they deserved it. They've received many positive reviews and you can only be glad for them. As for us, we are doing what we can in the current circumstances.

When will Kuzyaev and Erokhin be back?

Sasha Erokhin was expected to be back much earlier, but things have not gone right as we'd have hoped and the timing is uncertain. As for Daler Kuzyaev, the situation is more understandable and he is training on an individual program at the moment. Kranevitter is also injured and Marchisio has been out for a long time. Any diagnosis and return times will be published on our official website in the near future.

How will you replace Barrios, given that Kranevitter is injured

Players are all different, what Barrios does, no one else can. No one can do the same as Ozdoev. We have a group of footballers in central midfield. We have two days to decide who will play. We have the players, but it will be difficult, Barrios now looks very good.

As I understand it, in the match with Dynamo there were difficulties with Azmuon and Zhirkov. How are they

At the moment, there are certain issues, but so far they are being looked at. I hope they will get better closer to the game.";s:4:"TYPE";s:4:"HTML";}
