The club remembers Yuri Morozov

On Tuesday 13 May a number of representatives of the club laid flowers at the memorial to our legendary coach at the Sestroretsk cemetery.
Blue-white-sky blue President Alexander Medvedev led the commemorations with Gazprom Academy Director Anatoly Davydov and former players Vadim Khrapovitsky, Andrei Arshavin and Alexander Kerzhakov also in attendance.

Yury Morozov led Zenit to third place runners-up in the league in 1980 and managed the USSR to runners-up in the 1988 European Championship and winners of a bronze medal at the 1976 Olympics. He was awarded the title honored trainer of the USSR in 1989 and winner of the Coach of the Year in 2001.
