Sutormin scores twice as Zenit thrash Rubin at the Gazprom Arena

Sergei Semak's men ran-out 5-0 winners over Rubin Kazan in the 10th game of the Russian Premier Liga season.
A goalless first half saw two goals from Artem Dzyuba and Seb Driussi ruled out for offside and Zenit unable to make their dominance pay and the blue-white-sky blues went into the dressing room frustrated at not being able to find the breakthrough.

However the second half was a different story as Zenit's superiority came to the fore and goals from Ivanovic on 58, Sutormin on 65 and 75, Mak on 82 and Shatov on 87 meaning the fans at the Gazprom Arena saw a five-star performance. Artem Dzyuba seemed to have made it six in the final minute of the game, but this too was ruled out for offside.

Sergei Semak's men go back to first place with 23 points after 10 games, 3 in front of Krasnodar who face CSKA Moscow away on Sunday.

The next challenge for Zenit is the Cup clash away on 25 September against Enisey.
