Tell us about your holiday.

It was cool! We spent it with family and friends, played some football, rode on a quad bike, went swimming and played with my daughter. 

Let's start with the most important thing, your daughter’s Christening. How do you do it in Brazil?

We had it in church with quite a lot of people, our closest friends and of course, our priest. Now we feel happy and relaxed that our daughter is under the protection of Jesus.

When will your wife and daughter move to St. Petersburg?

They have come back with me now and are going to stay! Now they are near,  I am very happy and will have even more energy to play!

And we hear you met with Hulk.

We have not seen each other for a long time and he invited us for a visit. He asked how things were going at Zenit, what I thought of St. Petersburg and asked me about the new stadium. We exchanged shirts, had dinner, everything went fine. He asked me to say hello to Sergei Semak, who he speaks very highly of.

What are your wishes for 2020, personally and with the team?

I want every to be better than 2019 for everyone. I want to win the Cup and the Russian title. I really want to win my first trophy in Europe this year!
