Congratulations on becoming the first Zenit Women’s FC manager! How are you feeling right now?
First of all, I want to thank the management of Zenit football club and Alexander Medvedev for offering me the job. It is a great honour and a great responsibility for me to take charge of this new women's football team. I know that St. Petersburg loves football and Zenit is the real sporting icon for people here. I want the women's club to continue in the Zenit tradition.
Not many details have been released yet, but do you know who will make up your team?
Now we are looking at things, but it’s too early to name names at this point.
Can you at least tell us if we’ll have St. Petersburg locals in the team?
I’ll tell you a secret, we’re negotiating right now with local St. Petersburg players. For the management and the club, our priority is girls from St. Petersburg.
The Russian Women’s Football Championship starts in April. What plans do you have for pre-season training?
Until mid-March, we plan to train in St. Petersburg, after that we will go to the first training camp.
The Zenit men's team are the current champions of Russia and lead the table by 10 points this season. What will your targets be this season?
The word “Zenit” is enough for you to know what the team’s aims are. But we know that for the first year the building of the team will take time and the most important thing for us is to build the club, to staff it and pass our ideas and plans onto the players.

Dear fans, we really need and your support, it's vital! I know you love and cheer on the club and are very demanding, so we will make every effort to win your following and love.
