Maxim Rudakov was born on 22 January 1996 in St. Petersburg and progressed through the Gazprom Academy, going on to play 56 matches for Zenit U19s.

Rudokov went on to have loan spells at Zenit Penza and in Finland with HJK. He played four times for Zenit-2.
